Though we are always working to improve our herd, we are happy and thankful for our present bloodlines here at Lookout Mountan Boer Goat Farm. While the bloodline is not all the equation in producing a superior goat, it is an important part. Just like the ingredients in a pie, it takes many parts to complete the recipe. Along with the bloodline, the animal's health, environment, quality of forage/feed, build, growth rate, personality and other factors are all critical. But, as I heard one preacher say, you don't get race horses mating the mares to mules (no slight intended to mule fans). I believe this holds true to goats as well. So, before I get into trouble, let's take a look at some of the bloodlines here at LMBG.

I have listed some of the animals that my herd came from. I am listing the registration numbers and I am going back NO MORE than two generations. You can do your own search using the registration number to be able to fully appreciate the scope and sequence of our herd's bloodlines.
